Nomenclatural Notes

Status: nom. inval. nom. nud. Dennstedt published “Tab. 65. Sonneri-Ila–Cassebeeria maculata. Mihi”. Although his citation (“Tab. 65. Sonneri-Ila) refers to a Latin description (of “Sonneri-Ila Rheede, Hort. Malab. 9: 127, t. 65. 1689”), it does validate the name “Cassebeeria maculata” pertaining to a monotypic taxon (see ICN Art. 38.5 last sentence).
