Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. On p. 190, Fraser-Jenkins stated that he (1992) invalidly published P. hookeriana as a new combination, that its intended basionym Lastrea hookeriana C. Presl was a nom. nud. , and that his reference to C. Presl was incomplete. He proposed P. caduca as a new combination and based it on Cyrtomium caducum T.Moore. On p. 404, he realized that L. hookeriana was validly published and that in the reprinted version of his 1992 work, a full reference is given to the basionym. Therefore, he rejected P. caduca, proposed on p. 190, as superfluous [see Vienna Code Art. 34.1].
