Remarks

nom. illeg. non (R.Br.) Sprengel (1824). Mueller makes combination (previously made by Sprengel in 1824) but includes Leucopogon cordifolium (Lindley) Mitch. in synonymy. As only specimens from the Lachlan & Murray Rivers are cited by Mueller, Bentham appears justified in considering Mueller had a mistaken view of R.Brown's taxon.
