Remarks
Isely published L. oroboides var. nanus as a comb. nov. based on Hosackia puberula var. nana A.Gray, Pl. Wrightianae 2: 42. 1853 (sphalm.) and cited C. Wright 1357 as the type. Isely's reference to Gray's 1853 publication provides the required Latin description. Therefore, L. oroboides var. nanus was inadvertently published as a var. nov.
