Roemer and Schultes refer to Smith in Linn. Trans. 4: 217. Bentham, Fl. Austral. 1: 438 says: C. australis, a name attributed to Smith by Roem. and Schult. Syst. iv. 372, is imaginary, made up of a part of Smith's generic character with the generic habitat. Nom. illeg. non Pers. (1805).
