Status: nom. inval. Koyama cited Cladium scirpoideum Benth. et Hook, f. ex Hemsley, Bot. Challenger Voy. 3 : 59. f. 1-4 (1885) as the basionym; however, the name Cladium scirpoideum itself is a new combination based on: Terobera scirpoidea Steud. [See Melbourne Code Art. 41.8 Ex. 20]
