Protologue: ‘Epilobium minutum Lindl. var. glabrum Suksd. Var. nov. (1893) = E. foliosum var. glabrum’. Suksdorf (16: 210. 1899) mentioned: ‘Der erste Name ist immer derjenige , unter welchem die Pflanze abgegeben wurde ; darauf folgt sogleich die Jahreszahl der Abgabe , entweder 1893 oder 1895’ (= The first name is always the one under which the plant was given; this is immediately followed by the year of the distribution, either 1893 or 1895). Sometimes, the first name equated to a different name which Suksdorf believed as correct (vide Werner Greuter; B)
