Remarks

doi:10.7751/telopea14922 Etymology: name derived from the Greek 'netron' (spindle) and 'stylis' (style), in reference to the spindle-shaped style base persistent on the nutlets of this genus. Thus derived, Netrostylis is feminine as is Tetraria, so no alterations of epithet terminations are required for species transferred from that genus.
