doi:10.11646/phytotaxa.475.2.6 Named for Mr Edward Charles Hummel (1903-1979) who, with his wife Minnie Belle Hummel (née Byrne, 1904-1993) operated a family-owned and -run nursery from 1935 until 1978, Hummel’s Exotic Gardens, which was one of the first nurseries to commercially offer material of the nothospecies now described as K. ×edwardii.
