See Bull. Soc. Bot. Centre-Ouest 50: 134-138 (2019), which argues the name should be corrected to Xatartia. The person it was named for was known under different spellings, which was not unusual at the time (e.g. Forsskal). While 'Pagès-Xatart' may be correct to modern eyes, Xatard, Xatart, and Chatard were all in use for this person, and this flexibility in spelling means that 'Xatard' is not correctable.
