Remarks
Authorship: vols. 1-5(1), Willdenow, C. L.; 5(2)-Schwägrichen, C. F. (to be cited as Schwägr. in Willd.); 6(1, 2), Link, H. F. (to be cited as Link in Willd.). Some confusion has arisen over edition numbers since TL-2 No. 4769 for Species Plantarum has ed. 4 as a Reichard edition. Although the latter is entitled Systema Plantarum ... editio novissima it includes Species Plantarum and other works, and TL-2 states that it can be counted as the 4th edition of Species Plantarum. The entry then lists the 5th ed. [c.q. fourth] by Willdenow. ; Date of vol. 5(1): TL-1 (p. 503) lists: 25-27 Jan 1810; TL-2 (v. 7: 303) lists: 25-27 Jun 1810; both editions refer to Fuchs (in Taxon 11: 126-132. 1962), and he mentioned the date 25-27 Jan 1810 (accepted here).
