- Description: pp. vi, xii, 105 With an introduction by W. Carey, and a Catalogue of plants described by Dr. Roxburgh in his MSS. Flora indica, but not yet introduced into the botanical garden. Although most new names are invalid (nomina nuda), several names are validly published because of references to other publications. Many of the nomina nuda were validated in Roxburgh's Flora Indica (1820, 1824, 1832), de Candolle's Prodromus (vols. 1-4, 1824-1830), and G. Don's Gen. Hist. (vol. 1, 1831). For a list, see: C. B. Robinson (Philipp. J. Sci., C. 7: 411-419. 1912); T. A. Sprague (Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1925: 312-314).
