Gamble (Kew Bull. 1925: 329-330. 1925) published Pseudoglochidion as a monospecific genus with P. anamalayanum as its type species; he provided a genus description on p. 329 and a species description on p. 330. Webster's new combination protologue: Pseudoglochidion Gamble, Kew Bull. 1925: 329. 1925. TYPE: Pseudoglochidion anamalayanum Gamble [= Phyllanthus anamalayanus (Gamble) Webster, comb. nov.]. Although Webster did not cite a bibliography for the basionym, his cited reference to the monospecific genus name satisfies the requirement of the Melbourne Code Art. 41.5 for a valid publication of a new combination.
