Remarks
Habenaria hollandiana Santapau (1957) was proposed as a replacement name for H. affinis Wight 1851 (non D.Don 1825). Kumar and Manilal treated H. hollandiana (feminine adjective in nominative) as a later homonym of H. hollandiae (J.J.Sm.) Schltr. 1911 (feminine noun in genitive) and proposed H. indica as a replacement name for H. affinis Wight. The authors erred in their assessment (see Shenzhen Code Art. 60 Ex. 23). The name H. hollandiana is legitimate, and the name H. indica was superfluous when published.
