Remarks
doi:10.15517/lank.v20i2.43358 The specific epithet Jucas 'represents, for the Kokonukos indigenous communities, an ancestral energy of the underground world where the water dominates. Jucas also means all the native plants, animals and the spirits of nature, even the spirits that cause 'mal viento' (cold wind) producing weakness in children and pregnant women'.
