Remarks
The epithet honours the altruistic work of botanists Christopher Davidson and Sharon Christoph, who for years, enthusiastically, generously and without any objection, have been developing and supporting botanical research in the tropics. It is thanks to their support that the volume of Piperaceae (in which this species is published) could be completed.
