Eponymy: 'Dr. Baldwyn, from whom I received a specimen under the name of P. polyccphala'. Nuttall implicitly Latinized the honoree's name Baldwyn as Balduinus and coined the epithet balduini; a correction to 'balduinii' is not needed (ICN, 2018. Art. 60.9 Ex. 29 applies.)
