On pp. 259-260, Pursh treated 8 Epilobium species (nos. 1-5 on p. 259 & nos. 6-8 on p. 260); no. 4 is E. tetragonum; no. 5 has a description and locality information, but lacks an epithet. On p. 747, Pursh mentioned “4 ab infer, adde nomen specificum, rosmarinifolium” and thus corrected the error.
