Status: nom. illeg. later homonym non Nees (1832)

Remarks

.Anderson (p. 445; dated 6 Apr 1866) provided a description for Haplanthus Nees (1832). Within its treatment, he (pp. 503-504) included 4 species; at the same time, he (p. 502) excluded the genus type species H. tener Nees and treated it as a synonym of Andrographis tenuiflora T.Anderson. Thus Haplanthus T.Anderson was inadvertently created as a later homonym in 1867 (see Melbourne Code Art. 48.1)
