Remarks
Etymology (indicated): ... the ranges of C. deflexa and C. austrodeflexa do not overlap. The former is a plant of arctic-boreal and north temperate regions, in the east extending southward to southern New England and disjunctly to the high Appalachians of West Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia; the latter is confined to the coastal plain from southeastern Virginia to northwestern Florida, southwestern Alabama, and northwestern Louisiana.
