The name M. congesta is ascribed to 'Schuttl.*' (p. 202 of 1892 publ.), a note on the previous page explains the use of the asterisk: Nous faisons suivre d'un astérisque quelques-unes de ces plantes dont la diagnose nous a été obligeamment transmise par M. E. Huet, de Pamiers, possesseur du riche herbier de son père, où les étiquettes accompagnant chaque espèce portent souvent des descriptions manuscrites.
