Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. nom. subnud. A validating Latin diagnosis lacking. P. M. Brown provided: Planta inter Platanthera sparsiflora (S. Watson) Schlechter et P. tescamnis Sheviak & Wm. Jennings intermedia et habitu, colore et forma florum, vel proprietibus speciearum mixtis (see Vienna Code Art. Art. 32.3 & Ex. 6).

P. M. Brown provided the following as holotype: U.S.A. California: Mono Co., wet woods along dirt road south of Lee Vining. 31 July 2007. P.M. Brown 31707 (holotype: FLAS) ETYMOLOGY: kelleyi from the Latin, honoring Brad Kelley who guided the author to one of several sites for this locally abundant hybrid.
