Remarks

For the type of the name Didymocarpus leucocalyx (1884), the author C.B. Clarke included the 3 syntype collections of D. albicalyx (1883) (collection: Sikkim: Griffith s.n., J.D. Hooker s.n.; Nepal: J.D. Hooker s.n.). However, for his 1883 name, Clarke cited specific herbaria, whereas for his 1884 name, he did not cite any herbarium. Therefore, it is construed here that for the name D. leucocalyx, Clarke did not include all the syntype elements of D. albicalyx (see Shenzhen Code Arts. 9.6, 52.2(a))
