This name was originally (invalidly) published by Dodson and¹Neudecker [Orchidee (Hamburg) 42: 46. 1991]; these authors¹cited 2 drawings (G.C.K.D. 1117A & 1117B) as type and did¹not indicate a holotype [see ICBN (Tokyo Code) Art. 9.1].
