Remarks

Although S. matsudae Kudo (1931) and S. matudae Epl. (1939) are parahomonyms, both names honor the same person Eizi Matuda (1894-1978). According to T. P. Ramamoorthy (in Taxon 36(3): 588. 1987), The surname of this Japanese botanist has been spelled in two different ways, Matsuda and Matuda ... The romanization, Matsuda, appears to have been made by others, not him.
