Remarks
Jacquin (1763) proposed “Petesioides” (presumed to resemble the genus Petesia P.Browne) as a provisional genus name (invalid); Vitman validated the genus name as “Petasioides” and referred to Jacquin. “Petasioides” is corrected to “Petesioides” to reflect the original spelling.
