Status: nom. inval. pro syn. of Macrorhynchus heterophyllus Nutt. (1841).

Remarks

Nuttall (in Trans. Amer. Philos. Soc. n.s., 7: errata [unpaged verso p. 453]. post 2 Apr 1841) elevated Macrorhynchus subgen. Kymapleura Nutt. to a genus; he did not make the combination K. heterophylla.
