"It is native of the Swan River settlement, where it was detected by our indefatigable friend Mr. James Drummond. From seeds sent him it has been raised by Mr. Lowe, of the Clapton Nursery ..." [Given by D.Geerinck, Bull. Jard. Bot. Nat. Belg. 40 (1970) 267 as "DARLING DISTRICT: Swan River, 1843, Drummmond 126 (holotype K!)"]
