Ritter cited the basionym reference as: OPUNTIA CAMACHOI ESPINOSA 1933 Revista Chil. Hist. Nat., S.126/130. The cited pp. 126-130 pertain to the entire protologue of the basionym. Although the reference lacks the volume no. 37 of the basionym bibliography, the reference is construed as full, and the new combination M. camachoi is treated as valid (see Shenzhen Code Art. 41.5)
