Remarks
Although Rydberg, the publishing author, did not accept A. fragrans f. elliptica, he quoted from Heimerl's specimen labels ( The sheets in the National Herbarium bear the following labeling by Dr. Heimerl: 'Abronia fragrans Nutt. (ad formam ellipticam (Nelson) accidens!) and thus published the name validly for Heimerl.
