Remarks

Etymology: The specific epithet possibly refers to the white trichomes on branches, leaves and sepals of the first collection annotated with this name (at least as seen by me in herbaria), F. Woytkowski, 8004. The name was coined by Weitzman (1990: in herbarium), but never validly published. doi:10.3100/hpib.v20iss1.2015.n5
