Remarks
Elliott (pp. 478-479), the publishing author, ascribed Monotropsis, its single species M. odorata, and their validating description/diagnoses to Schweinitz. Elliott mentioned that he inserted a description of a new genus, which has been politely communicated by Schweinitz. In his preface (p. vi), Elliott acknowledged Schweinitz for his notes on many genera and species.
