Remarks
a new subspecies endemic to south-central to southeast San Diego County, California, USA, and inland, northwestern Baja California, Mexico. It is uncommon on seasonally moist, granitic-derived or gabbro-clay substrates, distinguishable from other Pentagramma triangularis subspecies by the scattered white farina on the adaxial blade surface and lightly scattered along the stipe.
