Miller (p. 200, t. 300) did not publish Arduina; he treated Lycium. For Arduina bispinosa, Aiton (Hort. Kew. 1: 270. 1789) referred to Cult. 1760, by Mr. Ph. Miller. Mill. ic. 200. t. 300.; later works seem to have misinterpreted Aiton's citation and used Arduina Mill. 1760
