Nomenclatural Notes
Status: nom. inval. Bennet based his new combination Striga asiatica var. coccinea directly on Buchnera coccinea Benth. (1835). The cited basionym B. coccinea itself is a new combination and based on Campuleia coccinea Hook. (1826). Vienna Code Art. 33 Ex. 20 applies.
