On p. 127, he cited the basionym as “L. vulgaris ssp. asiatica Kobiakova”, and on p. 128, he referred to “Kobiakova, J. A. The bottle gourd. Bull. Appl. Bot., Gen., and Pl. Breed. 23: 475-520”. A precise page no. for the basionym lacking (ICN Art. 41.8 Note 1 applies)
