For his new combination Falcaria javanica, DC. (p. 110) cited Sium javanicum Blume as the basionym; additionally, he (p. 139) cited “Sium Javanicum Blum.?” as a synonym for O. javanica. The preceding was published as the name of a new species (cf., Shenzhen Code Art. 52 Note 1)
