Eponymy: Lady Susan Broun-Ramsay [Hooker (p. 14, last 3 lines) mentioned “… to the Lady of the present Governor-General of India, I have, as a mark of grateful esteem and respect, dedicated the noblest species of the whole race.” Susan Broun-Ramsay (1817–1853) was the wife of 1st Marquess of Dalhousie James Andrew Broun-Ramsay (1812-1860), the Governor-General of India in 1848] Hooker's coining of the epithet dalhousiae by omitting the final vowel in the honoree's name is a correctable error (see Shenzhen Code Art. 60.9)
