Remarks

S. Watson cited a single collection (C. G. Pringle, July, 1881), and AMES has a single specimen; J. V. Freudenstein (in Harvard Pap. Bot. 1(10): 49. 29 Apr 1997) designated the AMES specimen as the lectotype. He did not provide any reason for his lectotypification.
