Remarks
Lindley cited “§ V. Ornithochilus, Wallich” as an infragenus in Aerides and also cited “Ornithochilus fuscus. Wallich Ic.” (manuscript name). It is evident that Wallich provided the name “Ornithochilus” at the rank of genus and that he is not the author of the infragenus name.
