Engelmann (p. 212) mentioned: “Picea Engelmanni, Parry, sub Abiete, St. Louis Trans. p. 122;” in the same volume, on p. 122, Parry did propose “Abies engelmannii” (nom. nud.). Therefore, for P. engelmannii, an “ex” authorship is not needed.
