Metcalf proposed C. benthamiana as a nom. nov. for Vitis angustifolia Bentham, Flora Hongkongensis 54 (1861), non Wallich, and exclusive of syn. Cissus angustifolia Roxburgh (1814) (sic). He also cited 3 other synonyms as pro parte.
