The article author van Steenis (p. 52) ascribed the new combination Petrosavia sakuraii to J.J. Smith, and on pp. 45-46, Steenis acknowledged (in Dutch language) Smith’s contribution as: “Bij de samenstelling van de tabel heb ik ... terwijl de bewerking der Orchidaceae van Dr. J.J. Smith afkomstig is, die bovendien zoo vriendelijk was het geheele door te zien.” (= “When compiling the table I have ... while the operation of the Orchidaceae of Dr. J.J. Smith, who, moreover, was kind enough to see it through” (vide Google translation))
